5linx is a telecommunications company that focuses on marketing their services through a network marketing model. It was founded in 2001 by three telecommunications executives (Craig Jerabeck, Jeb Tyler and Jason Guck ) whose sole purpose was to create a premiere VoIP (voice over IP) telecommunication company.
They currently host a wide range of products ranging from cellular phone service, satellite TV, home security, and broadband internet. Quite the leader in the industry and can offer big savings to a regular retail customer.
So the question is
“Can A Telecommunications Company Make One Rich ?”
In an industry where network marketing companies sprout like wild fire over night and crash and burn just as fast, 5Linx has been going strong for almost 10 years. Also, the founders of the company have over 50 years of combined experience in the telecommunications and direct sales industries.
But one thing that I did not like is it’s marketing model. It revolves around contacting people you know and asking them to try out the services. 5linx also organises a lot of offline meetings like home presentations and weekly hotel meetings. That means a lot of cold calling and old school marketing techniques.
Also telecommunications is a very competitive industry There are several other telecom-based network marketing companies around that you’ll have to compete with. You also have to compete with non-network marketing companies, like the monopolies and up and coming companies like Magic Jack.
Like any other business, your results depend on your individual efforts. It does require knowledge and a lot of trial and error to be successful.
For our taste, we like simple programs where you just need to focus on advertising and generating traffic. No need to bug friends and family.
